Bonita "Bonnie" Heare

Bonita “Bonnie” Heare 80, of Decatur, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday September 13, 2014 at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur. Bonnie was born on July 28, 1934 in Berne, IN., to the late Chester and Esther (Bollenbacher) Heare. She was a nurse in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and in Arizona. She also was involved in various volunteer efforts. Bonnie is survived by one brother John Heare of Stockton, CA., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held on Friday September 19, 2014 from 3:00 – 5:00pm at Haggard Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. Funeral service will be immediately following the vistitation at 5:00pm. Burial will take place at Decatur Cemetery at a later date. Pastor Jeff Horsman will be officiating. Memorials may be given to Adams County Relay for Life, or Rebecca Mukisa Memorial Fund (Sanya Babies Home)
